As one grows older and has time to look around,  Nature's little things become more important and appreciated more.  Here is a little bird who sought sanctuary on the corner of our home in the trees to build her nest and lay her eggs and raise her little one, catching the endless supply of bugs to feed the voracious appetite of such a tiny thing.
We first discovered Momma as she sat on the fence chirping her one note song.  Mother and Dad made endless trips off that fence catching bugs. One was always on guard protecting their precious home.  The windows went unwashed and the spider webs grew bigger as I did not want to disturb Nature's little show.
On Friday the tiny little bird took its first journey in flight. On Saturday, Mother and Dad took it too our little water falls for its' first drink and bath.  I can still hear Mother chirping to the baby teaching it new things preparing it for lifes big adventure.

On Wednesday June 10, I witnessed a cow elk crossing hwy 87 between Pine and Strawberry while her new-born calf was too frightened to cross. I captured the calf on video, I did not know that they have spots much like a deer fawn. You can hear it calling it's mother, sounds like a bird chirping.
