It takes a community to "make" a Blood Drive! Thanks go to the First Baptist Church for providing us with such a wonderful place for our drive.
Thank you to all those who participated in the May drive.

Special thanks to the Strawberry Patchers, a chapter of the Arizona Quilters Guild, for the many hours it took to make a full size quilt coverlet that was given away in a drawing at the end of the drive. Everyone who came to donate, plus the volunteers, and phlebotomists were entered. The winner of the quilt is Terri Fleming, owner of Mountain View Construction. Terri was a first time donor!
Margie Rivera and Sheri Earp hold the quilt for proud winner, Terri Fleming.
Other sponsors who made this drive possible: Safeway, in Payson; Ponderosa Market; Pine Bakery; Dianne Mitchell, Sunny Mountain; Al, "The Barber"; Uncle Tom's, Sportsmen Chalet; DJ Craig; and of course, our volunteers...Sharon, Holly, Fran, Lu, Christy.
62 people came in to donate...I do not know yet how many units we actually received. Those that give power red count "extra credit"!
